Under the Arc de Triomphe’s vault

At the heart of Paris and exactly in the centre of the Charles-de-Gaulle’s place, the Arc de Triomphe of the Étoile ordered by Napoleon the 1st is taking the Tomb of the Unknown soldier and the torch burning permanently since 1923 in, to remember the soldiers dead for the nation.

Each evening at 6.30 p.m., veterans and war victims associations’s members are rekindling the flame.

If you want to discover this ceremony which takes place at the west tip of the Champs-Élysées or if you just want to visit one of the many historical monuments of the capital city, we advise you to book a Helzear room, flat or luxury suite, a hotel located near to the Arc the Triomphe in Paris.
